Nabby.. She was a runway model in LA so she showed us all how to walk downstairs. It was so much fun!!! Everyone LOVED my sister in law! she is the best and the most Gorgeous Girl! She is sooo stunning! I can't say enough how much I Love Porter's family!!!

This weekend I did a runway show to help my friend Jen Clyde out. It was so much fun because my sister in law Nabby was in it, my friends Karolynn, Brittany and Jen Clyde were in it too. So the funnest part was playing dress up with my friends. Plus my #1 Passion is Of course Fashion! I love clothes and I love putting together outfits for myself and everyone else too. Afterwards we went to Zuppas with Nabby, Karolynn, Brittany and Hillari and I and we talked and laughed and had some good salads and sandwiches. It was funny because Porter and Chloe were sitting front and center at the runway so when I would walk down I would hear this little baby coaxing for me and it made me smile.

The Top Flavor was Spice, The middle was Chocolate with Fresh Strawberries and cream in the middle and the bottom was vanilla with cream cheese in the middle! It was so good! Everyone commented how tasty it was!

This Saturday was Chloe's Birthday party with my side of the family. Her actual Birthday is the 27th. We had a lot of fun! We had pizza and salad and 32 or more people came. I have a pretty big family being the youngest of 6 kids. Chloe is the only baby in our family and the next oldest grandkid is 3 1/2 years old. So she gets pretty babied. It was fun! She loved being the center of attention. We had a cake made from this girl named Bethany who did a amazing job! If anyone needs a cake in the future including wedding you should call her 518-1774. It was also delicious!

I can't believe Chloe turns 1 in 11 days! It has gone by so fast! I am so happy to be a mom, although I know 2 kids is for sure going to be all for me. I want Chloe to have a sibling down the road. She is such a sweet girl and thrives for attention when we go out in public. She is the baby that stares at people until they look at her and then she does little face tricks and winks with both eyes at them to make them smile. She loves being the center of attention. We are going to get her pictures taken on the 22nd and I can't wait to see how they turn out. She is not standing on furniture and whenever I stand her legs up she screams, cries and gets really mad! She just bends at her knees as hard as she can arches her back because she gets so mad and wants to get down to scoot around on her butt. Whenever I hold her she gives me or anyone else about 1 minute to hold her before she is pushing you away with all her strength in her legs and arms until you put her down. I didn't like to be held either as a baby so maybe she is taking after me in that way.

Sunday Night I went to Celine Dion with The Yates Girls. I had so much fun! Julie had a extra ticket and took me. She put on a amazing show! It felt more like a show then a concert because she goes all out. It was the best concert I have ever been too. She is such a legend and her voice is pretty hard to believe. It was so much fun hanging out and laughing all night with Jen, Julie and Amanda Yates. And I loved going with Jen and Julie's parents they took such good care of me in Highschool. They are such a fun family :)

1 Night Trip to Vegas

This week Porter and I went to Vegas 1 night to help my friend Jen pick out clothes for her boutique. They have trade shows there 2 a year where every designer goes and showcases there clothing for boutiques to buy. This is my 2nd year going. It was the first time we have left Chloe overnight and I would have thought I would have gotten great sleep. But it was weird that I couldn't sleep at all. It was a lot of fun to go but for sure a day filled with walking around and starving our butts off. By the end of the day I was so sick and ornery and luckily we got to eat 1 meal. The other meals were expo snacks (YUCK). We ate at the Pink Taco. It was pretty good but I did HATE there rice! It was the sickest driest and non spanish or even lime rice I had ever tried. But there chips and salsa and enchilada was good. I think it was or I was just super hungry!
We stayed at the hard rock. Here is the pic we got. We made Porter take it of us and he was so embarrassed because he hates taking pics and we were laughing so hard because we looked really dorky. And he said what if someone walks up and we were all laughing and then 2 younger guys did and I just said don't mind us.. We know we are dorks. Anyway it was a lot of fun because we were out of it by the end of the night and people prob thought we were drunk.
p.s. Yes any of you that know me would not be surprised I walked around a 10 hour expo in 3 inch heels all day.

On V Day we went out with Jen and Dave Clyde to Market Street. It was a lot of fun even after waiting for a table for 2 hours!! But once we sat down finally we had a lot of fun listening to Jen and Dave's stories about the reality show's they had both been on. I knew Dave was on Design Star but what I NEVER knew is that Jen was on Fear Factor Couples addition about 7 years ago. How funny is that!!!! I have got to find the episode! I also got a massage earlier in the day while Porter watched Chloe. It was so nice!!

She doesn't crawl but crawls upright by moving her legs side to side and moves around fast with doing that. She is such a sweet girl and I love all her personality! This week we all went out for my birthday! We went out to macaroni grill! It was so much fun to hang out with everyone and we missed our friends that couldn't make it. I am so happy to have such great friends! I got some really cute stuff too! I love all my new things! This weekend was so fun with everyone in Town! Saturday night we went over to Cameron Ferre's house to see some of my friends from Highschool that are all married now or moved away. we ate dinner and then talked for a long time and hung out. Porter loved it too because I was introduced to Porter from a friend we have named Andrew Roach and he was back home visiting too. So Porter talked to him and 2 other friends he has made from when he lived in L.A. with them. KC Clyde and Corbin Allred. It was so much fun to see everyone!
Then on Sunday night we went over to Wes and Jody's house and ate dinner with them and Dave and Jen Clyde. Andrew was going to come but he had a cold that was acting up and Corbin was going to stop by on his way back to Cedar City but had to keep going because his kids fell asleep. So it just ended up being us 6 with our kids but it was so much fun! Jody cooks the best food!

Jen told me about yogurt melts. Chloe cries inbetween them cause we don't feed her fast enough. They are like crack to her! And yes we have to place them in her mouth. When we give her the food in her hand she throws it!

Saturday night we went to the Epic Casual Dining in Midvale on Ft Union. This is about 5 minutes from my house and I never thought I should go try it. Well it is the best food!! It is super nice inside too! It is the type of restaurant that say's casual but it really isn't. It is super high end food and really cool inside. I got the Chicken Marsala and the Chicken was SOOO tender! And Porter got a Pork Medallion's dish and my mom got the Salmon. We also got this flat bread as a appetizer and it had chicken, walnuts, feta, cranberries and a pesto sauce on it. It was the most tasty appetizer ever! The tables along this one section are really close together so the couple next to us kept playing with Chloe so I asked them if there salad was good (a side salad that was soooo yummy looking had all kinds of greens and stuff) and he said they drive ALL the way from Park City to eat there 2 a month for a date night. He said that's how good this place is and there salad is the best salad I have ever had he said from anywhere. It reminded me of the salad that Carver's has that is my sister in laws favorite salad. So now I need to go again and pass on the appetizer and start with the salad that everyone was raving about. It is a huge side salad that could feel 2 people for sure. So the point is.... Everyone needs to go there! No one would be un happy! It was super busy and the best atmosphere! You want to dress kinda cute to go cause it is for sure not a casual dress down place but more a casual place because they have big purple sofa's while you are waiting! Really Cool!

This week I went to brunch at La Caille. It was so much fun. My friend Julie and Karolynn work there and Karolynn took me there with Jen Clyde. Tonight we took Chloe because we couldn't find a babysitter and she was really good the whole dinner and we were there about 2 hours. It was a lot of fun. Chloe had her 6 month appointment a week ago and got her shots. She is still in the 97 percentile for everything. She weighs 20lbs and is almost 28 inches long. People never believe she is only 6 months old. She has a huge personality and never stops moving or talking and doing high pitch yells of excitement. Everytime someone meets her for the first time.. They say the same thing without fail.. She makes the funniest faces!! She has been so much fun. I am feeling a lot better to because I am fitting into all of my pre pregnancy pants ;)

Today I worked the what a women wants expo with Hillari, Julie, Jody, Wes and Rick. It was so much standing and working but so much fun to be with such good friends and working at the same time. We sold lots of energy bites and protein shakes for Total Health and Fitness. I am going again tomorrow so I am going to get a few more pictures too. My brother in law Pack stopped by too and took me around to people watch.. that was fun and we saw some interesting women well men dressed as women.. Hmmm yeah it was fun and he makes me laugh hard so that made it funner! I love Porter's fam!

I know I post a lot of pictures but I love taking them!! Friday we went to the mall and Kinderwinkel with Porter's sister Nabby and Porter's Mom. We had a lot of fun! We also ate at Paradise Bakery! Yum! I have been doing Total Health and Fitness so I didn't eat my favorite cookie! I love there cookies. It is hard not eating treats but once you stop it is easier because they get out of your system and then you don't crave them as much as you do when you eat them. I can't wait to get back to my pre pregnancy weight. Mainly because I love clothes so much and I love being able to wear them and not feel yucky in some. :) Anyway.. Here are some new pictures. The one picture is of my niece Clara playing with Chloe at the Southtowne Mall play yard.
The other picture is of Chloe in her cute onsie that Nabby bought her! So cute. I love the crochet sleeves.

Yesterday I babysat My nephew Noah all day while his family took my nephew to the MTC. For some reason Chloe was such a stinker. She made me hold her ALL day at there house or she would not just cry but bawl! I don't know if she wasn't liking another baby around her mommy because noah is 2 1/2 and still in the mode to where he cries and likes to be taken care of or what her problem was. Here are some pictures of her while I was watching her and then when we got home and went to the gym. She goes to the daycare. She does really well there they have only come to get me once. Everytime a daycare lady comes out though I look at her and say 'ME?" and she says no and smiles. I am always so paranoid of her crying when people are watching her.

Last night we went to my nephew Michael's setting apart who is my sister Rochelle's son. I can't believe he is old enough to go on a mission.. My sister Rochelle was my 2nd mom growing up and I was around her kids a lot growing up. I am usually never really emotional but they went around the table and asked for everyone to say something to him before he got set apart and I just started crying out of no where.. I just thought about how he was so young and it went by so fast that he is now going on a mission.. I am going to miss him and he has such a awesome family. My sister Rochelle has 7 kids and she is such a good example as what a mom should be and has raised the best kids!! My nephew Michael is such a good grandson to my mom.. He always calls and talks to her and invites her to go to sizzler non stop because he knows she loves that place. And he recently has called her a lot to go to the temple with him.. I know she will miss him!! Most kids are just way into there friends at age 19 and he is too and has way close friends but always makes his family time come first. He is such a example to me!

Today we went over to Grandma Brinton's house. We got a few pictures of Chloe and her cousins. Chloe is starting to sit up really well now and it makes it so nice when we go places. Today we ate dinner and she just sat there the whole time while we ate. It made it so much easier to eat because she was a lot happier. Friday I went to Forever 21 with Hillari, Brittany and Bethany we found some really cute jeans for 12.50! It was a lot of fun to go shopping! That's about all we did this week other then Crossfit and the Gym :)

This weekend we had a lot of fun (even though we have all been sick for 3 weeks now). Friday Chloe and I met Porter at the Gateway. Also this weekend It was my nephew's fairwell who is going to Puerto Rico and we went over to there house Saturday and Sunday. Then on Monday Porter and I went to the mall with Chloe. And I went to the gym with my friend Hillari and My niece Amie. I have been doing this workout called crossfit for the past 4 weeks with Hillari and it has been a lot of fun. She is a lot better at it than me since she is a natural athlete but I get a really good workout out of it and have fun seeing friends. I also started THF (Total health and fitness) 4 weeks ago as well and I am working hard to get to my goal and when I do I am going to try to be daring enough to post a after picture. It feels so good to lose the baby weight and to finally start to fit into clothes again.

Friday we went to lunch with Jen and her Kids and Julie. We ate at Paradise Cafe on 10400 South so we could of course do our favorite thing after and hit up Kinderwinkel! When Jen and I go to lunch we try to make sure it is right by Kinderwinkel because we love to look around in there for atleast a hour to see all the cute things in there! It is such a fun store for Conner too because he loves to play with all the toys in there! They have these ladybugs on wheels and everytime he loves to line them all up and watch movies with them. He doesn't like when other kids come and try to take one because that ruins his perfect set up! haha!!! It was so much fun to see Julie too! I haven't seen her in a while so it was a fun surprise that she met us! Then Saturday I went to Crossfit (workout) with Hillari and Porter and that was fun too!! Then Saturday afternoon I went swimming with my sister in her mother in laws pool in her backyard just the 2 of us with no kids! That was so fun to hang out for 3 hours while Porter watched Chloe!! Then after all that Saturday we met Wes and Jody at Olive Garden and we took Chloe and stayed there for 2 hours! So I had one of the funnest weekends seeing so many of our friends!!!

On Thursday I babysat my nephews Gavin and Hunter who are obsessed with Chloe. They are so funny. Hunter brought her a present. I had to take a picture because I thought it was so cute that he wrapped up one of his books to give to Chloe. I love my nephews and I think it is so much fun how much they love Chloe. I don't know why but in my family Chloe gets so much more attention that the other babies we have had.. I don't know if it is because I am the youngest of my siblings and waited so long to have kids? But she has a ton of cousins that love to spoil her.

Before the Dr's Appointment

Today was Chloe's Dr Appointment for her 4 month check up and shots. She is actually 4 1/2 months today. I hated taking her into get her shots. I am sure every mom does! Poor little babies! When I went back I was SOOOO excited because last Thursday my Dr's office got in the shot that combines the 3 main shots together. So she only had to get 2 shots in her thigh and 1 liquid vaccine in her mouth. So that made me feel better. She was 100 percent healthy and I feel so lucky that she has never been sick or had any health problems at all. She is such a happy baby that never stops moving. As long as she is moving around she is great but she doesn't really like to be in a room alone unless she is asleep so that can be hard. Within the last 2 or 3 weeks I have noticed that all of the sudden she has gotten so LONG and heavy! Her feet hang off the car seat. She was 26 1/2 inches long! She weighed 17 pounds 13 ounces and her head was 44cm. She was in the 95 percentile for everything. But for her height her weight was only 50% but of course when you don't look at her height it was 95% so he always pulls up both to tell me since she is such a long girl. He said that usually the head is not right on where the height and weight is and since they are all up there and proportioned he said that is a pretty good indicator that she is going to be tall. So I hope so because I always wanted to be tall! Porters family are all really tall so I want her to be as tall as his sister so she can be America's Next Top Model!! haha!! Last week we went to California and Stayed in a Beach House! It was so much fun! I was in heaven! It was the prettiest area! We stayed in San Clemente which is near Laguna Beach and Dana Point. We went with Porter's parents. It was so much fun to be away and spend time with Porter and Chloe and Reid and Vickie. Every day a really loud train would come by every 30 minutes right in front of our window. It was so loud but it was so fun that we were right on the beach and had a train come by the balcony. We also spent a day in Irvine. It was so much fun to hang out on the beach and shop.

We went to my nephew Hunters Birthday last Sunday. It was a lot of fun at my sister Kimberly's house. We had a BBQ and they kids launched water balloons with a launcher. Porter held one end of the launcher and my sister Kimberly's brother in law held the other side. They had so much fun. I can't wait until Chloe is old enough to run around with her dad. Then after the party my cute niece Amie and her boyfriend Joe played games with my mom and I until almost midnight. We played Uno, Triomano's and Yatzee (who knows how you spell those haha). It was a lot of fun. Porter didn't participate because he doesn't like board games at all :(

Sunday was Alvin's baby blessing. He is Chloe's cousin who is only 4 days younger than her. We had so mcuh fun going. Nabby always makes the best food and she made a array of Rice Crispy Treats! They were so good! I could eat them until I was sick. She made like 6 differant flavors. They were dipped in White Chocolate and the whole shabang!! Yummy! On Thursday we went to Kinderwinkel (chloe's favorite store ha ha) with Jen. It was so much fun! We stayed there well for probably over a hour and didn't even really notice. It was so much fun helping each other decide what we thought was the cutest out of our sale pile we had. Then after we ate at Pei Wei. It was so good to see her and see her cute little boys. Today I went swimming at my brother in law's moms house. I was with there kids watching them so we were able to go to her pool. She has it in her backyard so those are the best kinds of pools to go to! I went with my sister Rochelle and her kids and Gavin and Hunter (there grandma's house) It was so much fun. Chloe actually loved the water. She loved kicking away and then after about 50 minutes she wanted a bottle and was out for a nap. What a cute girl. When she eats her bottle lately she loves to put her hand on it and hold it on one side by the nipple. What a cute girl!
She loves to be entertained but when she is she smiles right when you look at her and smile. She especially loves to laugh at her dad. Porter baths her every night. I go in also to watch but every night he gets her bath ready then after he puts on her lotion swaddles her and gets her to sleep and then I can get on the laptop and do whatever I want. He does this without fail every night and has for the longest time. He helps me so much because I am the type that needs some time to myself to do something I enjoy each night to wind down for bed so I love it. It has been so much work having a baby but I am so grateful to have her. But everyone that has had a baby can remember how hard there first was.. geesh lots of work to adjust! But of course totally worth it.

I went to instacare today and I am now on crutches.. I have to go back July 9th to see if I have to get surgery. My Big toe has a good break in it and it is moved over far enough that he said I may
need surgery depending on how it looks in 9 days when I go back. What a crappy thing to happen to me. I am such a clutz all the time!

My blog hasn't been uploading pictures. everytime I go to upload it gives me a error from my laptop acting up. So I wanted to see if they would post today. I have been busy with my nephew getting married. We went to New Mexico for it. Here are a few pics! Sorry I can't type a lot but Chloe is about to cry because she wants me to hold her. I did see sex and the city the other day with my friends! Erin, Jen, Julie, Heidi and Jackie.. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!! Who knows why we didn't get a group picture.. Everyone looked so cute. I love heidi's hair blonde. And Jen looked so cute in her new clothes. And Erin looked beautiful! And Julie has such a cute body and always looks so cute and Jackie looked so cute and skinny. Hillari was there but then had to leave so we missed her! But I did meet her at the gym earlier that day and we had so much fun doing Muscle Works Class together. I have such cute friends.
I loved getting out and going with friends and I hope we go again! Porter's mom is the best mother in law. She watched Chloe for me! I feel bad asking her but she seems to love her grandkids so much and never minds. When I came to pick her up chloe was chatting it up with her Grandpa. I am so lucky!

Sunday we went to Grandma Brinton's house for cousin Clara's Birthday. It was so much fun to get together and take new pics of babies cousins Chloe and Alvin in there matching outfits from Porter's Uncle and Aunt. There are both growing however Alvin can sit up when he is against something and Chloe can't yet. She can hold her head up and sit forward in her Bjorn now but when you sit her up against a chair she falls right over to her side. So you can tell by Alvin's face he wondered what was going on and why he had to be tortured by holding up this little girl. It was funny for the adults though escpecially Nabby and I we always laugh so hard when we see the faces they make when we lay them by each other and they both swat each others faces.

I am trying to find my camera cord and I am so mad it is lost..
aI took chloe to her 2 month dr appt this week and she weighed 13lbs 8 ozs and was
24 inches long. She is a little Long Board!! She is so cute and smiles and talks way more
now and blows spit bubbles and loves watching baby einstein at one point during the day.
I can't wait to find my cord and if Ican't find it I wonder if they sell spares? I am going
to go look this weekend.

Today Chloe got blessed by her Dad. It was the best day for me and it made me realize even more how much I love her and love how much her dad loves her. Porter is never ever emotional and he said when he was up there blessing her he felt so much love for her that he got a rock in his throat and his voice got shaky. I love my family so much and I am so grateful for everyone that came and made our day even more special. I am so lucky so be born in such a strong family and then to have married into such a amazing family. I love my family so much and I love my new siblings that I married into. We have so much in common and I love so much having new best friends Pack and Nabby make me laugh so hard and Porter's brother chauncey is such a good influence to everyone and such a good example. And I am so grateful that chloe will be raised with such awesome Grandparents, my mom and porter's mom and dad. She is so loved by her whole family.

On Thursday we went the Southtowne mall with Porter's mom and his sister and kids nabby, reid, clara and baby alvin. We were going to go to Thanksgiving point but when we got there it was so windy we left. We had a lot of fun afterwards we ate at the Mayan.

Little Betseyville Marilyn Monroe Onsie. A little big right now but I love it so I put it on her anyways. She is so cute but VERY obsessed with her Baby Bjorn. All she wants to do is be in it. Even around the house. She loves being cuddled and close.

Daddy picked out her dress and Nabby made her bow for her. In the top picture where she is crashed out is because Porter loves to comb her hair and it knocks her out cold! He combed it for about 1o minutes straight and she loved every second of it.

It is hard to see but it is made out of a baby blue onsie on the top really fitted and blue all the way down with a little baby pink apron on the front. She looks cute it in.
